This Benelli is a complete customization/restoration making it into 273cc of unadulterated push-rod fury.  Bike started life as 250cc street motorcycle sold long time ago by the now defunct Montgomery Wards department stores in the US.  Originally a Benelli from Italy, we decided to bring it back to life as a period racer (while being street legal) and added a host of modification and customization, some of which is outlined here:

Engine upgraded with 71.2mm pistons (stock is 68mm), race profile camshaft, stainless steel valves, ported and polished head.

Amal 928 carburetor with velocity stack and a customized exhaust system.

Being a vintage racer, we improved the braking and suspension with 32mm Guzzi front end with an adapted CB77 dual leading front drum brake and the rear has an upgraded shock.

Italian made clip-ons and rear sets are part of the upgrades.

Completely new wiring harness and upgraded to 12v and electronic ignition and advance curves.
